To the alchemist, everything on every plane, from the earthly to the subtle, is composed of the four elements – air, fire, earth, and water. At first glance this seems simplistic, but considered in combinations and quantities, the possibilities become open ended. And when you consider the elements under the influence of the principles of heat, cold, expansion, contraction, dampness, and dryness, the complexities and combinations become almost infinite.
We here at Alchemy Art resonate with these alchemical principles. Our passion for art making and our comprehensive experience in the production of high-end paints and coatings, inspired us to develop a range of home grown quality artists materials for professional artists.
Our Chemists at Alchemy has spent over 3 years researching the elemental constructs of the art industry’s most trusted professional etching grounds, and can now confidently announce that we produced an equivalent, premium, locally manufactured range of print making materials that will be readily available and affordable.

Works fine, but softer then standard brands so can get a bit tacky under your hand if you working many hours but it’s a good product and very happy to have it available on the market.
They should conciddered making a soft ground will be quite easy and they is a need for it as well.
On first impressions the hardground looks and feels the same as other hardgrounds, with one exception the ground has a good melting point and could easily adhere to the plate surface immediately. Once the ground was placed down it stuck to the plate providing the plate with a waxy coverage with no effort.
I like the fine resin, but thicker particles in another little jar would be appreciated, as it can give you a different texture.
