Wooden Canvas

These Supawood panels and boxes deliver consistently strong and sturdy support. They are dense, flat, super smooth and can be directly primed with gesso, Encaustic gesso, or barrier-coated with PVA before oil priming. Some artists use these panels to make linen or cotton canvas panels or to mount sanded pastel or watercolour paper for a firm archival painting surface. (Supawood – Wood chips are ground into a fibre, blended with resin, then bonded together through heat and pressure into a premium quality panel product).
